Coastal Woodland

This paining is part of my riparian coastal area inspired series.

This painting is part of my Riparian Coastal Areas series, inspired by the living landscapes surrounding Cudgen Creek in Kingscliff. Melaleuca, Eucalypt and Casuarina woodlands mingle with open grasslands and tidal waterways, creating a richly layered coastal habitat. Swallows wheel overhead, curlews wander the grasslands, and the subtle movement of this place informs the textures, colours and rhythms within my work.
